I am the Project Manager for CATALYST and the Earth System Prediction group within CGD. In this role I coordinate and support multiple projects across the lab and one of my primary roles is to secure and manage the computing resources needed for scientific model simulations using the CESM and E3SM models. These runs are conducted on multiple High Performance Compute platforms including the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), and NCAR’s NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC).

Current work includes coordinating resources, optimizing model allocation, and orchestrating and conducting multi-member large ensembles of CESM and E3SM SMYLE hindcast simulations to better understand modes of variability in the context of multi-year to decadal predictability.
